Mark is an independent candidate standing in Rushen.
He says has a multi-sector skill set and background that spans the finance sector, running a business, education and local government.
He believes the two things driving issues on the Island are legislation and finances, claiming if they aren't managed well then everything else falls.
If elected, his priorities would include education, supply chains, ports security, air and sea links, and the economy.
Mark says: "Never have we needed those willing to protect our Island more than we do now, and for twenty years I have been fighting alongside good people for you."
We asked each candidate to tell us what their priorities would be if elected.
Mark said education and skills are the future, while finance and legislation are the past and present. He believes if the latter two aren't robust and fit for purpose, nothing works.
Mark has accepted our invitation to take part in the candidate interview and constituency debate, but declined our offer to participate in the video features.
