Martyn Perkins
Martyn is an independent candidate and he's standing in Garff.
He's a retired mechanical engineer and represented the constituency in the House of Keys from 2016-2021.
He has two children and enjoys sailing and maritime activities, folk and shanty singing and heritage in his spare time.
Martyn says: "Having been a member of the Keys in the previous administration, I am dismayed just how disconnected and authoritarian the present administration has become.
"It is vital that the new administration challenges the very structure and function of Government, particularly how it interacts with, and affects the lives of individual people.
"Government must listen and take on board the mounting pressures that people are incurring."
We asked each candidate to tell us what their priorities would be if elected.
