Paul Weatherall

Paul Weatherall is the chair of the Liberal Vannin party and is standing in Ayre and Michael.

This is his second time contesting a general election, having first stood in 2021. 

He has three children, as well as an English Springer Spaniel called Ffinlo, a rescued feral cat called Tabby, a Clydesdale horse called Flora and two other horses called Ludo and Poppy.

Paul is also a Ballaugh Parish Commissioner after being elected last year.

He believes that since he stood in the last election, many of the issues faced by the Island then are still unresolved.

We asked each candidate to tell us what their top priorities would be for the next administration.
