Peter is an independent candidate standing in Ramsey.
He spent 20 years as clerk of the town's commissioners and now serves in a number of voluntary roles.
He has two children and this is his first time standing in a General Election.
In his spare time, Peter enjoys spending time with his family, cycling, sea swimming, walking, DIY, gardening and supporting local rugby, community initiatives and events.
Peter says: "Like other candidates I can’t pretend to have all the answers, and I will face a learning curve in some areas; however, I can commit to being honest, diligent, approachable, open to discussion and suggestions, and to work collaboratively to find ways in which these and other areas of concern can be addressed."
