Tim Glover is standing as an independent candidate in Arbory, Castletown and Malew.
He is currently one of the constituency's sitting MHKs and this will be his second time standing in a General Election.
He's listed some of his priorities as addressing the cost of living, the economy, housing, health and infrastructure.
Tim says: "Public service is deeply engrained in me having worked at Manx Radio for 24 years prior to being elected to serve at the 2021 election as your MHK – the biggest honour and privilege of my working life.
"The pace of change has been frustratingly slow so there is much more work to be done."
