Over 800 teaching staff attended a learning conference on Friday (1), to explore how education should be shaped for the next generation.

Professor Guy Claxton helped lead the 'Essentials 4 Learning' symposium from Castle Rushen High School.

He's a cognitive scientist, who specialises in the development of children's minds, and travels around the world to give talks about the future of education.
