Island marks Remembrance Sunday

The Isle of Man will pause this morning to remember those who gave their lives serving their country in conflicts around the globe.

This year marks the hundredth anniversary of the outbreak of World War I – and a two minute’s silence will be observed across the Island at 11am.

Ramsey and Douglas will both host services this morning, while the national service of commemoration will get underway at 3pm.
