Viewing of Colby development plans

DoI and Arbory Commissioners invite comment

Members of the public will have a chance to see the latest plans for a proposed housing development in Colby tomorrow (Tues 25th).

The Department of Infrastructure Public Estates and Housing Division has submitted a revised application for 20 affordable homes on Phase 2 land at Ballacubbon.

A public drop in session is being held at Colby Methodist Chapel between 3pm and 7.30pm by the DOI and Arbory Parish Commissioners.

The scheme was modified following comments from local residents at a previous public consultation on the impact of the development on adjacent houses.

It's is made up of five two bedroom bungalows, seven two bedroom houses, eight two bedroom apartments, and 40 car parking spaces.

Representatives from the Housing Division will be in attendance at the session to answer any questions.

Anyone unable to attend the sessions who would like to see the plans is asked to get in contact with Arbory Commissioner Jane Glover on 492 010.

Plans can also be viewed online at gov.im
