A teacher who committed a rape and ten indecent assaults has been told he’ll serve a 15-year prison term.
Davoud Taghinejad appeared before Deemster Montgomerie at a Court of General Gaol Delivery for sentencing this afternoon.
As well as his jail term, he’ll also go on the Sex Offenders Register for an indefinite period and is subject to a Sexual Offences Prevention Order.
Police have welcomed his conviction and tough sentence.
