Repairs to walls on Douglas Promenade 'a big job' admits councillor

Discussions are ongoing but a community volunteer is calling for action

Repairing damaged stonework along Douglas Promenade is a ‘big job’ which could cost many thousands of pounds according to a Douglas councillor. 

The Sunken Gardens were badly hit during Storm Barra last year. 

Appearing on Mannin Line today Andrew Bentley outlined possible costs involved in the project:
