Scotland is next destination for The World

The captain of a huge floating village which has been anchored in Douglas Bay says the vessel will head north after it finishes its visit to the Isle of Man.

The World is a residential ship with a permanent group of people living in on-board apartments, and it constantly travels the globe.

It's been in Manx waters since yesterday (Thursday), and will weigh anchor tonight after its passengers have had a chance to see some of the Island’s attractions.

Senior Captain Dag Saevik says at midnight he will set sail towards Scotland:
