Southern authority in a muddle
It's been confirmed to Manx Radio that two more commissioners have resigned in Malew.
Barbara and John Brereton have handed in written notice for "personal reasons".
The chairman Bob Pilling stepped down from his role at a meeting on Wednesday.
It means Malew has only two commissioners remaining in office - Margaret Mansfield and Janice Knighton.
It effectively means the board is at a standstill until a by-election is held as the authority is no longer quorate.
Malew is also without clerk Barry Powell, who is on sick leave, with deputy Susan Paynter carrying out the role.
