On Air One to Three Christy Dehaven | 1:00pm - 3:00pm

Weather affects ferry services

Gale force winds in the Irish Sea area are causing problems for the Steam Packet.

The 3pm Viking service to Liverpool was cancelled, when the weather became worse than originally forecast.

All passengers booked on the sailing have been switched to this evening's 7.45 Ben my Chree service to Heysham, from where foot passengers will be transferred by coach to Merseyside.

Today's 7pm Liverpool to Douglas sailing was also been cancelled.

More information can be obtained from the Steam Packet on 0871 2221 333.
