The Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission has made a contribution to the GREaT Foundation, formerly known as the Responsibility in Gambling Trust.
The Foundation is a charitable offshoot of the industry, set up to support socially responsible gambling research, education and treatment.
GREaT describes the donation from the Island as valuable, but does not give a figure.
The Manx government's annual income figures, released last week, showed the Isle of Man's e-Gaming industry generated £293 million between 2009 and 2010.
