Idea of shared parental leave welcomed by Island community

Business and charity sector reacts to draft employment bill

Introducing shared parental leave on the Isle of Man is the right thing to do.

That’s the view of the managing director of the Isle of Man Creamery.

It’s something being considered as part of a draft employment bill which will go to Tynwald later this year.

If approved it would bring the Island in line with the UK which introduced shared parental leave eight years ago.
