The man who headed an election campaign has admitted three charges of election fraud.
Charles ‘Buster’ Lewin will be sentenced at the conclusion of the trial of four people who deny charges relating to the 2010 Douglas East by-election.
Yesterday, a jury was told Lewin had organised and directed a campaign to help one of the candidates - celebrity chef Kevin Woodford - by manipulating voting proceedings.
Lewin was sacked as clerk of Braddan Commissioners in 2008.
