Manx fishing and trade feature in text of Brexit deal

CM to make statement to Tynwald on Wednesday

Fishing vessels from the EU will be able to access Manx waters under the Brexit deal agreed between the bloc and the UK.

Boats in question have to demonstrate they've fished the area for a specified number of days within the last three years.

Chief Minister Howard Quayle will make a statement on the latest developments in Tynwald on Wednesday morning and then face questions from members.

Trade between the Crown Dependencies and the EU also features in the agreement.

But the issues of tax and GDPR have yet to be thrashed out.
