The Lieutenant Governor says he believes initiatives like the One World Charity Challenge can be particularly valuable for youngsters in a small community such as the Isle of Man
Sir Richard Gozney was attending this year's final of the event, held at the Manx museum last week.
It saw six teams of students from schools around the Island give presentations on their chosen charities to an invited audience and panel of judges.
Sir Richard says the initiative would be excellent anywhere - but perhaps it has a particular relevance in a more sheltered community . . .
