The decline of the Island's tourist industry during the last century is the unlikely theme of a choral work, which is expected to be performed in public for the first time in the next few months.
It's been composed by musician Roger Price, and focuses specifically on Port Soderick, where he lived as a schoolboy in the 1950s.
Mr Price left the Island over half a century ago but, during a recent visit, told Graham Bell about the composition (play extended audio file):
Mr Price has given copies of the musical score and CD to King William's College and says there are plans for the choir there to give the first public performance of his work before the end of the year.
