Summerland survivor recalls anguish

Pleads with instigators: 'give us closure'

A woman who survived the Summerland tragedy says the memories have never left her - and she's pleaded with the instigators to come forward.

Ruth McQuilan-Wilson from County Down, Northern Ireland, was just five when an inferno brought the leisure complex to the ground in 1973.

Fifty people were killed, and many more injured or traumatised.

Ruth has since turned her mind to writing to try and come to terms with the event.

She wants those who caused the blaze to reveal themselves, and provide closure to all affected.
