At Your Service

Sunday, 21 August 2022 - 30 minutes

Dr Andrew Ollerton is a theologian, a preacher, a skilled communicator and a lover of the great outdoors!  He loves God - and he loves The Bible, and works with The Bible Society to develop guides to help us explore the book that he believes is a limitless source of guidance and hope, in the face of so much uncertainty in our modern world.
In AT YOUR SERVICE today, Andrew takes us walking with him in the Brecon Beacons and as he crosses a lake and climbs a hill, he uses the first book of The Bible - Genesis - to answer some of life's biggest questions.
This talk is based on a part of Andrew Ollerton's book 'The Bible - A Story That Makes Sense of Life' published by Hodder and Stoughton and available from Churches Bookshop at St Thomas's Church, Finch Road, Douglas.
There's a video of Andrew's walk and talk in the Brecon Beacons - go to YouTube and search for WILD BIBLE
And Ruth Rice shares another letter from her alphabet of wellbeing - the letter is O and it comes with a warning!
Plus - music from The London Fox Singers and Stuart Townend, and our usual Notice Board
Items for the Notice Board can be emailed to judithley@manxradio.com
