Come and join us at Orrisdale on Sunday 7th June for this year’s LEAF(Linking environment and Farming) Open Farm Sunday — and help celebrate the 20th anniversary of farm­ing’s annu­al open day.
Take the opportunity to learn more about farming and the coun­try­side, while allowing farm­ers the chance to demonstrate and chat about what they do day to day on a modern working farm.
Bring the family along for a wonderful day on the farm, where children and adults alike can discover more about farming, animal keeping, crop growing and traditional countryside skills.
It’s a fantastic opportunity for younger generations to learn where everyday natural products come from and how they are made.
Get up close with farm animals, modern and vintage Tractors and sit on a gigantic combine harvester.
There’ll be plenty to see and enjoy throughout the day, and we look forward to welcoming everyone for a fun, educational, and hands-on farm experience.
