Cable & Wireless Communications says it’s to spend another million pounds upgrading its 3G network on the Island.
The company says it’ll spend the cash on improving a total of seven mobile sites on its Nokia Siemens Network.
The million pound investment will improve coverage in Ramsey, Douglas, Castletown and Colby.
As well as the 3G upgrades, the firm says it hopes to introduce a 4G network as soon as the spectrum for Long Term Evolution networks becomes available.
