Accountant pleased to see back of ARI

Treasury Minister Anne Craine addressed an audience of 260 people at the traditional Junior Chamber of Commerce post budget breakfast at the Mount Murray Hotel.

She gave a powerpoint presentation on the main issues included in her speech in Tynwald, including the decision to drop the Attribution Regime for Individuals (ARI) from the Island's Zero-ten tax system.

During her presentation at the Mount Murray Mrs Craine said Jersey acted at the same time as the Isle of Man to remove ARI from its tax system as well.
