Plans put the cedar pod in an apple orchard
A Manx outdoor activity company has submitted plans for a woodland classroom, in the middle of an orchard.
Adventurous Experiences is based in Patrick and provides a variety of outdoor excursions, such as coasteering and kayaking.
In its plans to government, it hopes to create a six to eight person capacity classroom in the land's apple orchard.
The space would have no wifi or mobile phones, and aims to provide education in environmental awareness, wildlife interpretation and expedition training.
It would be made out of cedar and the application says it would be inkeeping with the surrounding natural environment.
