Christmas came early for a large number of charities, when Ramsey-based AFD Software gave away £250,000 on its annual charity night.
Company directors David and Alison Dorricott divided the money between 50 organisations, some local, some national and some international.
Mr Dorricott says there is no bigger kick than giving money to worthy causes.
He says it enables them to worry less about raising funds, and get on with the jobs they should be doing (listen to audio file below):
There will be more about AFD's charity giveaway on Praise on Manx Radio, from 7.30am tomorrow (Sunday).
