Manx2.com has announced it's pulling out of flights to East Midlands Airport from July.
The airline blames what it calls a 'mismatch between capacity and demand' on Isle of Man routes.
The announcement marks the end of the service which celebrated its second birthday three months ago.
Chairman Noel Hayes says passenger numbers are down by almost a quarter this year, making the route unviable.
Customers booked to travel after July will be offered flights to other United Kingdom destinations or a full refund.
