One of the United Kingdom's best known journalists is on the Island to give a talk to the Institute of Chartered Secretaries.
Eve Pollard, dubbed the First Lady of Fleet Street, is the speaker at the organisation's annual dinner at the Mount Murray Hotel and Country Club in Santon this evening (Friday).
She edited both the Sunday Mirror and Sunday Express, launched Elle magazine in the United States and is a regular reporter on BBC1's The One Show.
She told Manx Radio she was looking forward to seeing the Isle of Man's natural beauty:
