'Give IOM a voice at Westminster'

A Conservative backbench MP believes the Isle of Man and other Crown dependencies, and British overseas territories, should be represented at Westminster.

Andrew Rosindell, who chairs the United Kingdom's All-Party Parliamentary Group on the British Overseas Territories, has made a submission to the UK parliament's Backbench Business Committee.

He says it's wrong that Britain's dependencies are ultimately governed by the UK parliament, but are given no voice at all.

'We give our 21 territories nothing', he says.
