There will always be a need for radio advertising, regardless of the economic conditions.
That's the view of the man who created the concept of Image Plus, the advertising platform used by Manx Radio.
Doug Gold, who is based in New Zealand, has been in the Isle of Man working with the station's business team.
Image Plus is now a global success story with clients across the world and Mr Gold (pictured) says, despite the current financial instability, there's been no let up in the demand for effective advertising:
