Companies in the Isle of Man should be given incentives to employ young people, according to Onchan MHK Peter Karran.
His suggestion comes after Wednesday's unemployment figures showed around 300 of them classed as 'NEETs', or Not in Education, Employment or Training.
They aren't included in the 'official' jobless total, which currently stands at 822.
Mr Karran is calling for the relevant government departments to take action:
Access to financial products 'limited' on Isle of Man
Plans for 10 industrial units in Crosby refused
Corporate income tax return deadline fast approaching
Vet practice expanding farm and equine services
