Apply for cafe license now, says DDP

System in place to maintain standards

If you’d like to be part of the capital’s pavement cafe culture, you’ll need to fill in the forms soon.

The Douglas Development Partnership says café owners in Douglas need to apply for licences to operate outside seating areas now.

Town centre manager Michelle O’Malley says the licensing system is in place to make sure eateries live up to standards and contribute to a vibrant town centre atmosphere.
