Days of solely desk-top working fast disappearing
The benefits of cloud accounting and doing business in a digital age was the theme of a recent breakfast seminar at the Claremont Hotel.
It was hosted by Pinnacle Book-Keeping Limited in partnership with the Department of Economic Development and guest speaker Alex Davis of QuickBooks UK explained the advantages of a cloud accounting system extended beyond secure and easy real-time access to data from PCs, smartphones and tablets.
It was pointed out how the system allows for multi-user access, automatic updates, and valuable insights into how a business is performing.
Phaedra Bird, from Pinnacle accounting, says ‘The audience heard how, as with all businesses, book-keeping and accounting practices are changing, reflecting the 24/7 digital age in which we all operate. The days of solely desk-top working are fast disappearing, so switching to a bespoke, flexible cloud accounting system is the way forward.'
