Manx chorizo among foodie triumphs
Fifty of the UK's top chefs and restaurateurs have judged a Manx-made chorizo worthy of a prestigious national food award.
Close Leece Farm's Spanish-style pork sausage was given two stars at this year's Great Taste Awards.
Made from rare-breed Tamworth pigs, the chorizo from Patrick was judged alongside more than 12,000 other products from across the UK.
Seventeen Manx producers scooped a record 56 accolades at the event this year, twice the number achieved in 2016.
