Bermuda is the latest nation to welcome the United Kingdom government’s review of offshore jurisdictions.
Finance Minister Paula Cox says she is confident Bermuda will come out of the review with flying colours.
In a statement, she says Bermuda has already had positive feedback from the International Monetary Fund this year.
Head reviewer Michael Foot will examine the regulation, taxation, financial stability, financial crisis management and international co-operation of the British Crown Dependencies.
But Bermuda’s Finance Minister seems to have broken ranks with the Island’s Premier Ewart Brown, who said: "We have just reason to be offended and insulted, it should be an affront to every Bermudian."
