Island's first hotel to sign up
The Mannin Hotel has become the Island's first hotel to become a UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man partner.
The Broadway-based accommodation provider has signed up to a pledge, agreeing to support six principles.
They include making its environmental impact positive, protecting the Island's natural resources, and engaging with the community.
General Manager of the hotel Rom Kesa says the business is operated as 'environmentally and ethically as possible'.
The Isle of Man was awarded UNESCO Biosphere status in 2016.
