Deal expands pensions business
Manx-based Boal & Co has bought a Jersey business belonging to the Zurich Insurance Group.
The deal for Zurich Trust Limited has been approved by the Jersey Financial Services Commission and will see Boal expand its pension trustee services into Jersey.
The new company will be renamed Boal & Co Pensions (Jersey) Limited but the firm says its customers won’t notice any other changes.
Boal & Co’s chief executive Mark Kiernan says the acquisition follows expansion into Gibraltar earlier this year.
