Award caps anniversary for firm
Wealth management firm WHIreland is reflecting on two milestones in its first two years operating an international office in the Isle of Man.
The company was established in 2014 by former Singer and Friedlander banking executive Richard Killingbeck - since then the team has grown from three to eight, successfully tendered for two government investment fund mandates, and won an industry award.
Now Group CEO, Mr Killingbeck has expressed confidence that the Manx operation, which has an average client portfolio in excess of £500,000, will drive growth across the WHIreland Group.
Last weekend, the Isle of Man office was named Best International Clients Team in the 2016 Wealth Adviser awards, seeing-off competition from wealth managers and service providers in the UK and Crown Dependencies.
The accolade is judged on a peer review basis among the publication's readers, including institutional investors and industry professionals voting online.
