Local business owners are receiving training in tackling discrimination from a UK government quango.
A senior advisor from ACAS is delivering a workshop in Douglas this morning (Thu), as the Island's first set of comprehensive laws surrounding equality come into force.
Age-related benefits, equal pay and staff training will all be covered this morning.
The first phase of the milestone Equality Act was implemented earlier this month.
It will take a further two years for the rules to come fully into force.
