Cable and Wireless have taken the battle to win the hearts and phones of the Manx people to the fixed line market.
Off the back of their new license, they say their tariffs and the use of a device called a dialler will " drive down the cost of phone calls" on the Island.
The dialler is plugged into the phone socket in the wall, then the customer plugs their phone into the dialler, and the call goes over the existing Manx Telecom local network and onto a Cable and Wireless Gateway.
Customers will get two bills, an MT one for line rental and calls to MT fixed lines and mobiles and another bill for all other calls.
