Vince Cable, the Liberal Democrat shadow chancellor, has attacked the Isle of Man again as the United Kingdom prepares to look into offshore finance centres.
He is urging the head of the inquiry to consider radical reforms to tackle tax avoidance.
Mr Cable says Michael Foot should work closely with US President-elect, Barack Obama, to reform tax havens.

He is warning: "The tax havens are very good at lobbying and Foot will be in danger of being seduced into some anodyne restatement of the status quo".
