Island-based online sports betting firm Celton Manx is to sponsor what's billed as the largest carers conference ever held in the Isle of Man, in the autumn.
The event 'Prepare to Care' is being hosted at the Villa Marina by Crossroads Care, as part of the charity's 25th anniversary celebrations.
The gathering in September aims to highlight the work of more than 10,000 carers in the island - whose ages range from four to 92.
Three in five people will become a carer and other two will be cared for; expert speakers at the conference will explain the impact becoming a carer has on an individual, their family and life.
Celton Manx executive director Bill Mummery described social responsibility as 'a cornerstone of what the company does - founded on strong reciprocal partnerships in the community.'
Mr Mummery said the company is pleased to channel support into local causes that have the power to turn lives around.
