Chance to explore digital signature potential

A talk on one of the latest IT developments in the business world the digital signature, takes place in Douglas this evening (Monday 12).

It's been organised by the Island branch of the British Computer Society.

Digital signature allows organisations to fully automate processes dependent on a client's signature, so they can go paperless, save time and money and reduce their carbon footprint. The technology's currently used in the life sciences, healthcare, government, energy and manufacturing sectors.

Guest speaker will be Edo Sela, European Sales Manager for ARX digital signature products, whose clients include the Royal Navy, NASA, the European Court of Human Rights and Coco Cola..

Representatives from its distributor in the Isle of Man, Manx Business Solutions, will be there, along with their first Island customer.

The event's billed as an opportunity to really explore digital signature solutions with international experts.

Doors open at the event at The Forum on Mount Havelock in Douglas from 5.15pm, the presentation is from 6-7.30pm with a question and answer session afterwards.
