Cityscape at Middle East property expo

Castletown firm jets off to Dubai

What business do Manx companies have in the Middle Eastern property market?

Well, it would seem, rather a lot.

A Manx representation is in Dubai this week to attend Cityscape 2016 - the region's biggest property show.

It's being headed by Tim Shallcross, head of business development for Castletown-based Optimus Fiduciaries.

He'll be one of 47,000 attendees there between 6-8 September.

Cityscape is a mass networking event designed to bring together professionals from every level of the building and property industry worldwide.

It's all set fittingly against the backdrop of some of the world's tallest structures - including the 892 metre-high Burj Khalifa.

Optimus bosses hope it will be a good opportunity to develop relationships and paint the Isle of Man in a positive light to Asian investors - which is 'especially' important in the wake of Brexit.
