Ramsey team goes for boxing bout treble
A team from Ramsey limbering-up for next month's Thriller in the Villa boxing tournament is hoping to take the trophy north for the third time.
The team's won official backing from Ramsey Comissioners this year.
Chairman Andy Cowie says the authority's keen to support the team and the event, which raises funds for Hospice Isle of Man and Rebecca House.
The sell-out event on 7 October is also a major business sponsorhip opportunity, with book-keeper Pinnacle heading the bill this year.
Ramsey's team, made up of four men and four women, will weigh-in on 5 October at 7pm, in the Mitre pub.
