Consultation kicks off digital radio debate

Comments are being invited on proposals for regulating the content and strategy for digital radio in the Isle of Man.

The ideas form part of a strategic review being carried out by the Communications Commission, with the aim of bringing the regulation of networks and services up to date.

The Island doesn't have a digital radio strategy at present, and director of the commission Dr Carmel McLaughlin says it's all about kicking off the debate (listent to audio file below):

The consultation material can be viewed at iomcc.im and the closing date for submissions is July 22.
