CRHS wins Student Company of the Year 2020

Solace topped comp with footfall monitoring device

A team from Castle Rushen High School has beaten more than 120 other A Level students to been named the 2020 Junior Achievement Student Company of the year.

'Solace' was announced the winner at an awards ceremony at the Villa Marina, beating all others with their business idea, Occativity - a wifi device for monitoring customer footfall in retail outlets.

Leighton Ginty, Ben Smith, Jonty Bregazzi, Orry Gooberman, and Emma Millward, who make up Solace, will represent the Isle of Man in the JA Europe Company of the Year competition in Portugal sometime in the future.
