All-round student achiever wins award
A promising trainee with Island property developer Dandara has been named an outstanding construction technician by the industry.
Max Christian who's 23, was presented with the Isle of Man Construction Federation award at University College Isle of Man's annual prize ceremony.
Max has spent the past two years studying for the BTEC National Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment, and begins his Higher National Certificate in September.
He was cited for consistently high marks in all modules, his attitude towards work, contributions in class, team spirit and willingness to help others.
Dandara's Director of Engineering Greg Kerwick said: "We are proud to be able to support people at the start of their career in construction by providing practical and academic assistance, encouraging the next generation of industry leaders.
We look forward to Max enjoying a long and rewarding career with Dandara."
