DfE on the hunt for non-executive agency chairs

Part-time roles available in Finance and Digital

The Department for Enterprise is looking to find non-executive directors to join two of its agencies.

Roles are available in the Finance and Digital boards on a part-time basis, after previous incumbents Adian Doherty and Lydia Barbara stepped down.

The recruitment process was delayed by the outbreak of Covid-19 in spring.

Successful candidates will be appointed for two years, and receive a salary of £15,000.

To be considered, senior management and board experience is needed, as well as a 'track record of achievement as a strategic leader'.

The four agencies, which are Business, Finance, Digital and Visit, are led by 'private sector expertise', and oversee 'vision, strategy, and policy development' in the department.
