Seven-day breaks on offer from November

Manxies bursting with wanderlust will soon have the opportunity to fly directly from the Island to Madeira, for the first time in five years.

Island-based travel agencies Richmond Travel and Mann Link Travel, along with online brand escapetherock.im, have been working with tour operator Superbreak to find new exotic escapes for locals.

From November, the Portuguese archipelago will be one of those, with seven-day breaks on offer.

National Sales Manager Gary Gillespie says Madeira was chosen as the destination because it has a warmer climate, but is less crowded in winter months.

Superbreak also plans to offer direct flights to Iceland from March 2019, after the recent popularity of similar offers.
